The January before that. They&#8217;ve just stopped relying on it.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>What Really Works: The Boring Truth<\/b><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What the people who keep themselves in shape have is much more valuable than motivation.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> They have systems. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a system that is indifferent to your feelings.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You do not have to be inspired by it.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is nothing but a series of pre-determined behaviors that you follow irrespective of how you feel.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The following is what that would look like in practice:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You exercise on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings at 6 AM.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Not because you feel like it. Not every day.
