You get up very early and prepare breakfast. You pack school bags. You cook, clean, work, and take care of everybody around you. At the end of the day, you are fatigued. It is impossible to find time to exercise. But there is the good news: you are only required 10 minutes a day to begin losing belly fat. Yes, just 10 minutes. This guide is created considering busy moms in Sri Lanka who do not need to leave home or spend money on the fitness centre. Such exercises are easy, fast and efficient. You do not need any equipment. All that you require is a little space on your floor and the desire to begin today.
Why Belly Fat Is Hard to Lose
Belly fat is one of the most resistant kinds of fat. It accumulates in and about your stomach, and it is very difficult to move. Among the women of Sri Lanka, this is particularly prevalent following pregnancy, at the age of 30 or during festivals such as Avurudu, when there is rich food everywhere over the course of weeks. A very big role is also played by stress. Your body also releases a hormone known as cortisol when you are stressed. The hormone makes your body store fat, particularly around your belly. A busy mom means that stress is part of your life. That is precisely the reason why exercise is very important. The 10-Minute Morning Routine

Evening Routine to Burn More Fat
In case you have 10 more minutes in the evening, it would be best to do a lighter yoga-based workout so that your body would still be burning fat as you sleep through the night. Child’s pose in one minute, cat-cow stretches in one minute, lying leg raises in two minutes of bridge, two minutes of a seated forward bend, and finally, two minutes of deep, slow breathing. Such an evening ritual will decrease stress hormones, enhance your digestive system and set your body to deep and restful sleep. A good sleep gives your body a chance to burn more fat during the night and also the hunger hormones are well maintained during the next day.

Make It a Habit, Not a Chore
The greatest issue is not the exercise itself. It is remaining steady day in and day out. Wake up at an alarm 15 minutes before the family wakes up. Always prepare your exercise apparel in advance; then you will not have any excuse to avoid exercising. Play your favourite Sinhala or Tamil songs to make sure you maintain your energy levels high during the session. At the end of every week, monitor your progress in a simple notebook. Invite a close friend or neighbour to accompany you further as a source of motivation and enjoyment. It takes approximately 21 days to develop habits in the brain. Give it three weeks and it will be 100 per cent natural.
What to Eat Before and After
To realise any meaningful results, you do not have to completely change your entire diet. Take in one full glass of water before your morning workout so that you are well hydrated. Have a light and balanced breakfast after the exercise. A warm rice porridge with coconut sambol is also a good choice that provides you with constant energy without a lot of calories. Eating heavy meals just before exercising is best avoided. There must be enough time to digest the food in your stomach and exercising with a full stomach will only make you slower and more uncomfortable.

How Soon Can You Expect Results?
The response of everyone is different. Certain women experience changes within a period of two weeks. To other people, it takes four to six weeks. You should not give up when you cannot see the benefits immediately. When you are watching the mirror and you do not see a difference, your body is transforming anyway. You are burning fat, building muscle and getting more and more energy daily. Focus on how you feel. It is all real progress when there is more energy, increased sleep, and even increased confidence.
